Episode 2 - Windi Turner
Realitor for the Villages, fl
In this episode, I sit down with Windi, an educator, storyteller, and passionate advocate for The Villages lifestyle. After falling in love with the community during a Lifestyle Preview visit in 2020, Windi and her husband, Clay, embraced everything The Villages has to offer—from championship golf to live entertainment and, most importantly, the sense of belonging that makes this place feel like “chicken soup for the soul.”
Born and raised in Virginia, Windi spent over 20 years in education, teaching at the middle school, high school, and university levels. While Clay served in the Virginia State Police and the U.S. Army, including three overseas deployments, Windi earned her master’s and PhD in Career and Technical Education from Virginia Tech. Today, as a dedicated DreamMaker with Properties of The Villages, she helps others discover the joy and lifestyle that transformed her own life.
Join us as Windi shares her journey from educator to real estate professional, the lessons she’s learned along the way, and why The Villages isn’t just a place to live—it’s a place to thrive.
